Slade could practically see something start in her mind just then. After his response her aura of calm had quickly turned into one of recognition and nervousness. There was a fifty percent chance she had just figured out who he was, but he wasn’t about to just out himself over an assumption.
“A mixture of both,” He simply replied, and finished off his drink before sliding it aside.
Penelope finished her drink too, pulling out her purse to pay her tab.
“Shall we call it a night?” She asked, turning to Slade. “Unless you have nothing else to do this evening.”
